Game crashed in the mid of run/ lost all gear

Was in the middle of a run when the game started say lost connection i was able to keep running around and was about make my way to extraction, when the game crashed all together and sent me to titles screen. I try to log back into game but it just kept saying that I couldn't connect to server. Decided to get off and come back later expecting my starting gear would be returned due to a severe issue but I just got greeted with an elimination screen and the loss of all my gear.
