Reproducible Ginger-Weasel Error Loop

There is a backend error with the party system where if one of the players disconnects/fails to join the match, the other players in the party are disconnected from the game. Following this, the other players will not be able to log into Marathon for an extended period of time (2+ hours) and their profiles in game will show them flicking in-between online and offline statuses.

This is REPRODUCIBLE, it is the second time it has happened and on both occasions it was with the same individual who was able to continue playing while the others were unable to log in. (Unsure if its because they are a free week player.) The only solution so far has been to simply wait for the issue on the server side to resolve WITHOUT any user input.

 

This particular error loop is clearly widespread and NOT an issue on the user's end as seen in all the bug reports about this recently. The post by ghost on june 6 includes a video on the exact issue.

Many of us have already tried the Network Troubleshooting Guide, or the Advanced Troubleshooting Guide, and it hasn't worked.
Please check on this error, it is incredibly frustrating to not be able to play the game for hours.

    If you have already tried troubleshooting the issue, please provide the following details to add to your report:

    • Exact date and time of the first and latest failed login, with your timezone.
    • Your region
    • Your ISP name
    • Does this only happen at certain times of the day?
    • Were other accounts able to log into Marathon on your PC or console while you were receiving error codes?
