Before reporting a bug, be sure to visit the Known Issues List in case the issue you're experiencing is already known.
To make the reporting process as smooth as possible, we ask that you use the format below when submitting. Please include any media, if possible.
Note: Videos and images are the easiest way for us to confirm and reproduce an issue, and minimize any back-and-forth messaging. If you are unable to provide any media, please do your best to list the reproduction (repro) steps so that we can better figure out the issue.
Here is a template on what information you can provide to make your report as impactful as possible for our team:
- Bungie Account Name - Example: PlayerName#1234
- Platform - Steam, PlayStation 5, or Xbox Series X
- Description of Issue - A general description of the issue in the game.
- Rough Date and Time of Issue - Let us know roughly when this issue occurred, especially if it caused the game to crash.
- Repro Steps - If you know the specific steps you took/performed to cause the issue, please try to write them here, step-by-step.
- MEDIA - Links to videos and/or screenshots will help us better figure out the issue. YouTube, Imgur, Bluesky, and X/Twitter work best (we can't view Dropbox or Google Drive files).
Where can I report a bug?
We have a couple of options available for you to report your bug. Our first option is the Bug Reporting Forums.
Important Note: You are free to create new threads; however, to keep things centralized, we ask that you first check if similar threads have already been made, and if so, post inside one of them. If you can't locate a thread about the issue, you're free to create a new thread!
If you'd prefer to send us the issue directly via a ticket submission, the option below is available. Please categorize your bug as accurately as possible with the drop-down menus to help us keep everything organized!
Important Note: If we need additional information from you, we'll reply to your ticket.
