How do I enable proximity chat?
- Upon launching for the first time, you will be met with an option to enable or disable proximity chat. To change this, go to Settings > Social > Enable/Disable Prox Chat.
- Note: You must use Push-to-Talk to use proximity chat, see below.
- Proximity chat is Push-to-Talk with the Y key on mouse and keyboard or right-directional pad on controller.
- Note: Team chat is a separate push-to-talk option (T on mouse and keyboard).
- Push-to-Talk key must be held while speaking over proximity chat.
- Enemy Runners using proximity chat will have their name pop up on the left side of your HUD.
- Note: This UI indicator will be present regardless if you have proximity chat enabled/disabled.
