Suddenly getting passionfruit error code
Been playing for an entire week without a single DC, suddenly can't matchmake at all, getting a high ping error. I'm in southamerica and tests show good connection. What gives?

Error Code: Passionfruit means that you are being prevented from entering matchmaking due to our system detecting too high ping. It can also indicate that you are likely experiencing poor or inconsistent networking conditions.

I am having the samme issue, my internet isnt slowed down at all, its a problem with the server
My internet hasnt changed, and this has started happenning immediately after the update. I will not be portforwarding in 2026, have not done it for over half a decade, be serious.
Also, i have read the optimizing connections page, everything is looking fine. I reinstalled to see if it was the issue, but it keeps happening. I'm in buenos aires, I know there are servers nearby. What are the next steps? Can I produce a log for you in some way?
Troubleshooting on other online games, no high ping whatsoever.

Could you try the following steps, and let us know if it helps resolve or improve the issue:
- Already did, including a full reinstall.
- Local match priority is what gives me the passionfruit error, if I use the default setting I can connect, but on high latency servers.
- I am on a wired connection. I do not use VPNs.
I've just encountered the same issue. I'm from South America region and I was playing before the last update with no problems. Afterwards I get immediately error coded if I try to search for a match with connection priority. Passionfruit error.
