Received the wrong rank emblem
Hello! I finished the ranked season at Pinnacle 3 and only received a Diamond emblem. This emblem does not reflect the highest rank I achieved. I and many others in the Discord and on Reddit are displeased with not receiving the proper emblem.

Thanks for reaching out.
To clarify how Ranked end-of-season rewards work: the emblem reward is tied to the highest Rank I tier earned, so the Pinnacle emblem is awarded for reaching Pinnacle I rather than Pinnacle III.
If your highest rank this season was Pinnacle III, then receiving the Diamond emblem would be expected.
If you haven't already, you may wish to check out this article for an in-depth description of the end-of-season Ranked rewards as well as each tier's rewards. We hope that this information is helpful.
But this does not represent the highest rank achieved. Why can I not receive Pinnacle for being in Pinnacle. It feels pretty bad.

Agreed If you reached said rank category you should get rewarded with that emblem
Also figured emblem would correspond to the rank you actually finished the season in, not intuitive to the player and very disappointing. Thought it was a bug too until I found this thread
Yeah this is absolutely rediculous, wether its 1,2 , or 3, if you made it to pinnacle you should get a pinnacle emblem. this needs to be fixed. so stupid feels horrible Bungie Support
Same thing happened to me (at a lower rank tho), the description was misleading and it's kinda dissapointing to see.
I tryharded till I reached Gold 3 then I stopped playing Ranked assuming I would earn the gold rank emblem as gold was the highest rank I achieved
