We understand you're experiencing difficulty connecting to Marathon's servers. We've received reports of the error you describe seeing. To hopefully alleviate it, you may wish to perform Network Troubleshooting or Advanced Troubleshooting.
If you continue to see this error beyond those steps, then please consider linking us to a screenshot of the error message. A site like Imgur would be ideal for this. We'll then review it.

spoke with ISP, ISP stated issue is not on ISP side, followed basic troubleshooting tips

While we realize you followed the basic troubleshooting tips, by any chance if you restart your router, does it resolve this error?
If not, then do you happen to have any antivirus active? If yes, please close it, whitelist Marathon and BattlEye, and see if you can launch the game without seeing this error. If you continue to see it, even after this step, then please let us know the date upon which you first began to experience this issue and we'll review.
Marathon and battleEye are both whitelisted and no third party firewall/ antivirus is on my machine. Able to connect when using Cox ISP but not when using GFiber ISP, have contacted Gfiber support and they determined that the issue is not on their end. Have done all the steps above.
