Weasel to yam to centipede to chicken to yam

Troubles signing in + connection issues since the middle of season 2. 

Season 1 - flawless performance. 

Season 2/5 - around start of august - yam + centipede errors started appearing. 

Almost every day, usually in the evenings. 11.10.2026 happened after 19:00 GMT+2. Unsolved for 3 hours. Cannot get into the game, multiple error codes. Sometimes it just disappears and game runs smoothly. 

On launch: always error codes: yam + centipede. After that it usually launches. 

Then it's usually okay for 2-3 hours. Then I get "Connecting to Marathon servers" and weasel. 

Then - usually it's impossible to get into the game. Connection errors are: yam, yam, yam, chicken, centipede, centipede, yam, yam, tam, centipede, centipede. 

 

Marathon rebooted, PC rebooted, router rebooted, steam cache cleared, steam files verified. No changes for now. Every Networking guide followed and done.

    Thank you for reaching out.

    Error code Yam happens when your anti-virus is blocking Marathon's connection to your computer.

    You can work around this by either disabling your anti-virus when Marathon and BattlEye are running or by adding those programs to your anti-virus' allow list.

    We also recommend reviewing our Advanced Troubleshooting: UPnP, Port Forwarding, and NAT Types guide for additional solutions.

    Error code: CENTIPEDE is a general networking error code. Error code: CHICKEN typically occurs when you are having connection issues to Marathon. Please go through the troubleshooting steps in this guide. 

    A few things to try: 

    • If you are using WiFi, we recommend switching to a wired connection
    • If you NAT is Strict or Type 3, we recommend getting your NAT into an Open or Type 1 state.

    We recommend you refer to our Network Troubleshooting Guide for detailed instructions on how to configure your network.

    Following that, if issues still persist after going through all of the guides provided, we would recommend reaching out to your ISP for more hands-on assistance in troubleshooting your network setup.

    All anti-virus disabled. All firewall exeptions added. UPnP on. 

    Both wired and not wired connection fail in the same way. 

    All troubleshooting guides done. Nothing changed for now. 

    ISP contacted, but no response so far and other games have 0 connection issues. 

    Waiting for any solution :(
