Nightingale error start up for both Marathon and D2 (tried all troubleshooting steps)

Hi,

I've been trying to load into Marathon for the past few days (been having this issue since Monday) but I can't get past the "Checking For Updates" load during startup but then it gives me the Nightingale error.

I've tried all troubleshooting steps related to the Nightingale error but nothing's working. I've also tried starting Destiny 2 but it's having the same issue and error code.

My vpn was switched off the whole time so that couldn't be the issue and Cloudflare One (WARP) never gave me any issues before. I have been able to connect to other multiplayer games unrelated to Bungie (Deep Rock Galactic, PEAK, VRchat, etc). There was a point last night where I was able to connect to D2 and Marathon when I set my VPN to DNS Only (HTTPS) but it only worked briefly before I started getting issues again.

Please advise on what to do next cause I've tried everything in your troubleshooting steps.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for reaching out.

Because Nightingale is happening in both Destiny 2 and Marathon, the issue may be related to your network, ISP, or Cloudflare WARP. Please try:

    • Fully disabling or uninstalling Cloudflare WARP.
    • Running ipconfig /flushdns in Command Prompt.
    • Restarting your PC and router.
    • Testing the games using a mobile hotspot or another network.

If the games work on another network, please contact your ISP.
