Marathon GOJI / BattlEye PLUM Error
I keep getting GOJI when trying to launch Marathon on PC through Steam.
Before GOJI, BattlEye also showed “Bad Packet” and Marathon gave me PLUM.
This started after I stopped playing for a while and came back after the new Cyro map update. Before this, I had already played about 258 hours without this problem.
I have already tried:
- Verifying Marathon’s game files in Steam
- Deleting/reinstalling the BattlEye service
- Restarting the PC multiple times
- Updating Windows
- Running a clean boot
- Checking the Steam folder for
version.dll - Checking for suspicious DLLs
- Testing with background programs/services disabled
- Checking running kernel drivers
