Voice chat not working

on xbox, i can't hear anyone if they are talking (possible no one is using it in the 4 games I've played with this issue). However, my voice chat is on, and isn't working (no circle around my icon indicating speaking). My mic etc work fine otherwise in other games. I've tried resetting all settings, rebinding, no luck.

    Thanks for reaching out! 

    If you haven't already, please see our Audio and Voice Troubleshooting guide for tips on configuring your audio setup for Marathon.

    If you're still having trouble, please try these steps:

    • Make sure Voice Chat is turned on in Marathon and that your mic is unmuted.
    • Check your Xbox privacy settings and make sure communication with other players is allowed.
    • If you’re playing with other platforms, make sure cross-network play is allowed.
    • Restart the game and test voice chat again.

    If it still isn’t working, please let us know:

    • Can you hear others at all?
    • Can they hear you?
    • Does it only stop working once the match starts?
    • What headset or mic are you using? is it bluetooth?

    I’m having this issue as well. On Xbox, mic works everywhere else except when playing Marathon.

    Yeah all of my settings are correct, I have been previously playing with mic and no problems, booted up today and it's not working. Can't hear chat or speak at all. Doesn't work even before matches, I'm using a Razer headset, not bluetooth.
