Constant Network Problems Since Season 2 Started

I played a load of season 1 and enjoyed the game greatly, but ever since season 2 started I am having nonstop issues with connection quality. I see the dots in the top right of the screen nearly 80% of my runtime, and frequently dip into red dots*. This cannot possibly be an issue on my end, as nothing changed with my ISP, network configuration, etc, between now and the last month of season 1. I am on a wired connection that routinely shows (and gives) extremely good quality performance to US-based server nodes.

Ping tests and packet loss tests never show anywhere near the level of disruption that this game seems to experience.

I can post numerous examples of busted hit reg, weird delays, unresponsive controls, but the reality is that these aren't diagnostic on their own. I can tell you with certainty, though, that they have become much more frequent with the release of season 2, and it is beyond frustrating.

*To put this in perspective: I see the red dot indicator for connection issues more in one week than I did in the entirety of season 1. There is simply no way this is a problem on my end given that nothing changed on my end.

    Hi there,

Thanks for the report, and I’m sorry you’ve been running into this since Season 2 started.

The top-right network indicators are there to flag connection issues during gameplay, including latency, packet loss, and disconnect conditions.

Please share your platform, region, approximate time of the affected matches, and a video showing the indicators when this happens.

Please use your platform's capture button to take a video. You can upload the footage to a public video hosting site, like YouTube, then post the link here and we’ll be glad to take a look.

  • Platform: PC, region: US (probably East), approximate time any time.

I can attach a video later, but I'm not certain what that will demonstrate. Does this game have some "back-end" display that shows ping, latency, jitter, (etc), similar to others, aside from just the connection dots?
