Unable to play the game. error code "weasel".
I was recently disconnected during queue with an error message stating "Could not connect to Marathon servers. Check your network configuration and try again." with error code weasel. I closed the game, and checked my internet - it was working fine, I launched the game, and got the same error during startup. I restarted my pc, then my router, then tried a vpn, then tried my phone's hotspot, all with the same result. I uninstalled the game through steam, reinstalled it with no change. I added exceptions in windows firewall and the anti-virus for marathon.exe, updated windows, and I'm still having the same issue.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: I tried playing the game on my laptop to see if it worked, I'm not sure if its a timing thing, but I got to the main screen with the prepare button which i was unable to get to before. The first thing I thought of that was different between my desktop and laptop was secure boot, its on on my laptop. I restarted my desktop and reset the keys to default and enabled secure boot, restarted again and I am able to get past the "click to start" screen. I'll check later on after maintenance to see if I'm able to actually play the game and complete a match.
