Steam account linked to two bungie accounts
My old steam account is linked to the same Bungie account as my playstation account, but is now linked to two bungie accounts. I managed to gain access to the old steam account so I could carry over my playstation progress on pc as you can't unlink accounts anymore. I made sure cross save was enabled but when I signed in my with my steam account it created a new account. I launched Marathon for the first time on pc but it has created a new character with no progress carried over.

From what you’ve described, there are two separate Bungie accounts involved:
xskillzdynamo#4623– this is the account your Steam login is currently attached to, which is why launching Marathon on PC shows a brand-new profile.hHarv101#1429– this is your older or main Bungie account, which is already linked to several IDs. That’s where your existing progress lives.Due to mandatory security policy, Bungie is not able to remove connected platform accounts from Bungie.net profiles under any circumstances. We also cannot merge two accounts either.
That means that if you wish to keep your existing progress, you’ll need to keep playing on the platform family that’s already tied to
hHarv101#1429.If you want to play on Steam, Marathon will treat that as a separate, fresh profile on
xskillzdynamo#4623. There is no way to enable cross save between two separate Bungie accounts. Cross save will work between multiple platforms connected to the same Bungie account.For more information about Cross Save, please check out our guide.
Is it possible to delete the xskillzdynamo#4623 account?
Hi again,
Deleting a Bungie account will not unlink the linked platform accounts. Once a platform account is linked to a Bungie profile, it is permanently linked unless it is a Twitch account.
If you would like to delete your Bungie account, you can submit a Data Privacy Request.
