Crashing

Im getting a game crash issue that gives me error code paprika with additional information W:8:00002EF1. I also get this error code when attempting to login and multiple attempts is required to resolve the issue. Been going on I believe 2-3 days now? I haven't noticed anything I'm doing to be triggering this either seems a bit random but I'm no tech wiz to know.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for reaching out.

If you’re encountering the Paprika error code, please try logging out of the game and back in to see if it resolves the issue. In the absence of scheduled maintenance, Paprika errors are indicative of network issues. These can be caused by problems affecting your specific network hardware, packet loss, or greater issues affecting your ISP which are being passed on to you.

To that point, we recommend consulting our Network Troubleshooting Guide to explore potential solutions. If that doesn't help, the next step would be checking our Optimizing Connections page.

If you are on PC and using Kaspersky, have you tried Whitelisting both Marathon and BattlEye? Whitelisting an application helps prevent it from being blocked by your antivirus program.

To whitelist Marathon and BattlEye, open Kaspersky, go to Settings (Big Cog) > Security Settings (or Additional) > Threats and exclusions > Manage Exclusions and then add both Marathon and BattlEye and save.

Following that, if issues still persist, we would recommend reaching out to your ISP for more hands-on assistance in troubleshooting your network setup.
