Bungie, Please Fix This – Constant Lag Ruining the Game

The first week I played, I had zero lag issues. But starting last week, I’ve been experiencing constant lag in every game I play, and it’s causing me to lose items repeatedly. I’m teleporting backwards, getting stuck running in place, and overall the game feels unplayable at times. I know it’s not my connection—I’m on Ethernet with 2.5 GB speeds, and I don’t have any issues in other games. I’ve also gone through all the recommended troubleshooting steps, and nothing has improved. Bungie, please address this issue. It’s making the game extremely frustrating and taking away from the experience.

    It sounds like you're experiencing network issues. These can be caused by problems affecting your specific network hardware, packet loss, or greater issues affecting your ISP which are being passed on to you. Further, all of this is possible even if your connection seems fine at a glance.

    To that point, we recommend consulting our Network Troubleshooting Guide to explore potential solutions. If that doesn't help, the next step would be checking our Optimizing Connections page. Following that, if issues still persist, we would recommend reaching out to your ISP for more hands-on assistance in troubleshooting your network setup. 

  • It’s not my ISP it’s your servers I didn’t have these issues before any of your updates I’m not the only one experiencing this lag like I said in my post your game is the only game I experience this in!! I’ve tried everything you claim y'all's server are perfect but clearly that’s not the case please investigate on your end because I did on mine and it’s not me!!!
