Big performance hit in Update 1.1.5 (micro-stutter)
After update 1.1.5 the game feels choppy in all maps. For example Perimeter was super smooth for me with avg. 110 FPS. Now it dropped to about 90 FPS on avg. and it would still be cool if not for this constant micro-stutter, that seems not related to FPS values/spikes.

Hi there,
Thank you for reaching out and for reporting this.
Please provide the following details to add to your report:
Please use your platform's capture button to take a video. You can upload the footage to a public video hosting site, like YouTube, then post the link here.
Hello,
It's literally constant. On all maps, during every match. I'm not sure if it's visible on the video recorded in 60fps as it is a micro-stutter, like game lost its previous image fluidity and became choppy since patch 1.1.5 dropped.
Here is a short video of Perimeter gameplay - Marathon micro stutter in Update 1.1.5 - YouTube (FPS also is lower than before, at this location it was 105-110 FPS)
Here a copy of my DxDiag - ------------------System Information------------------ Time of this r - Pastebin.com
No, I do not use Frame Gen.
Let me know if u need more data and please bring back performance from before 1.1.5 :)
hello i have same issue from today, game is just unplayable for me,before game was working just fine
Hi there,
Thanks for sending in your DxDiag.
We’d recommend trying the following steps to see if it helps improve performance:
If the issue continues after that, please send us a new report along with details on when the stutter happens most often, for example during combat, while loading into spaces, or after playing for a while.
Hello again,
Thank you for the tips. The game was already on SSD and I never use any overlays. Today I tried to play with Hardware-accelerated GPU Scheduling disabled and frame rate capped at various values in 60-120 range but it had absolutely no impact. I also tried it with 0 overclocking. Your latest 1.1.5.1 update also did not change anything. I see no point in trying a clean reinstall of Nvidia drivers as the issue did not come with any change related to drivers or its settings, it came with patch 1.1.5. I was on driver 610.74 before and after the patch. Also other games I play recently work same as before. If you confirm that clean driver install might fix it I can backup my settings and try it.
So to sum up:
- the issue is micro stutter and about 15-20% lower average FPS came with patch 1.1.5 and nothing changed till now (and I've tried multiple things)
- it is constant, starts as soon as I enter lobby and affects the game as a whole for 100% of the playtime (on all maps) and even in lobby animations and FPS is worse than pre-patch
- it affects general feeling of gameplay (lacks fluidity) and makes me not want to play, despite my love for the game.
- I notice it especially while bunny hopping around the map and also when I move my camera quick, as before it was super fluid and now the image is a bit 'choppy'
- I also noticed that some actions like clicking on items to pick them (and maybe opening doors) feel less responsive (like I was doing it too fast for the game to respond... and before it was always super smooth - I was collecting all revealed items as fast as I was clicking on them). It's also less responsive in lobby, when clicking on whatever (even accepting contracts).
I'm not sure if there is something else on my end that I could try to fix it, but please let me know. In general it looks like you made some change in 1.1.5 that made the game not optimized for my setup (and I am not the only one reporting similar issues).
Did you make any server-side changes in 1.1.5 (like tick rate, resource limit, etc.)? I play from central Europe with Connection Quality as Matchmaking Priority, latency around 25.
Hi again,
Thank you for the additional details.
We are aware of players reporting an issue with FPS drops since the 1.1.5, and we are currently investigating this issue.
I will pass along your report and video to the relevant channels to help us investigate this further.
Thanks a lot for your support and investigation.
I got a few more things to report after today's testing.
- when I enable frame generation (both Intel and FSR) in game, image fluidity from before the patch seems to be back
- this happens only if I have frame gen disabled first, and enable it later. If I enter a match with frame gen on, the stutter is still there and fps is even lower then previously mentioned 10-20% drop. So I need to disable it for a second and enable again every match. Same process required if I minimize game window for a sec.
