Error Code Marmot occurs when the Marathon game files have been corrupted and need to be repaired or verified. For steps to repair the game files on each supported platform, please see our help guide.
If the above didn’t help, please run "chkdsk" on your computer to correct any hard drive issues.
Understood, that much I gathered from the error code page. I'm more so interested in determining how/if I can get the loot back that I lost to something that was outside of my control.

Support is unable to restore any lost loot, and any refunds that can be offered are handled automatically by the game systems, not manually through support. While we're unable to manually return lost loot, we have a system in place that automatically refunds gear lost to a subset of server errors.
