Error Code Weasel - Lost two superior key templates and a deluxe
Around 6:13 AM EST 5/5/26 I was heading to exfil on perimeter and started getting contacting marathon servers at the bottom. It kicked me with error code weasel. It asked me if I wanted to reconnect and I selected yes. I got error code grapefruit and then was eliminated. I lost all of my gear and more importantly three key templates I was trying to extract. Is there anyway these could be restored?

Thank you for reaching out and reporting this issue.
Error code WEASEL is a general networking disconnect that we’re actively tracking. Your disconnect is automatically reported on our side when it happens, so that run is already flagged for investigation.
We’re not able to restore items or progress lost due to disconnects, lag, or other connection issues. In cases where a qualifying server‑side error happens, any refunds that can be offered are handled automatically by the game systems, not manually through support.
In the event that an error occurs with Bungie’s server or network infrastructure, connection recovery may not be possible. We will attempt to ensure that any players affected by a server error will have their starting gear returned to them.
Note: Gear refund only applies to a subset of server error conditions, and will not cover gameplay losses due to Internet connectivity or client-side problems.
To reduce the chance of this happening again, I’d also recommend going through general network troubleshooting (wired connection if possible, router/modem restart, closing bandwidth‑heavy apps, etc.) before starting higher‑stakes runs like Cryo.

No, It's not a problem with our network, or anything like that, it's not a client-side issue. Both my teammate and I were disconnected at the same time, 12.00am GMT+2, and a lot of people who reported this issue on both the forum and Discord were disconnected as well.
This has never happened and was not a client side issue. It's disappointing especially when it happened to other runners. Thanks for adding that Numero.
