  Hi there,

  Thanks for reaching out.

  As per our Marathon Cross Save Guide:

  No, it is not possible to disable Marathon Cross Save.

   

  Marathon characters and data are stored on a player's Bungie Account, which is different from the Bungie.net Profile and only stores game data.

  When linking platform accounts, players who have separate Marathon accounts across multiple platforms will be given a choice to choose which Marathon account progress to keep if linking to the same Bungie.net Profile. 

  After both confirmation windows, Marathon progress on the accounts not chosen will be deleted and replaced with the chosen account progress.

  
  Please note that deleting a Steam account will not unlink it from the Bungie account that it was linked to.
