Weasel error when logging into my account

Hello, When I try to log into the game, I get the Weasel error. I tried logging in from the same computer using another account, and everything works fine.But on my main account, the error still keeps happening. I have already tried:
- restarting my router;
- restarting my computer;
- reinstalling the game.

We're sorry to hear you are getting this error code when logging into your account. We've received some reports of this issue and are investigating the underlying issue further. For the time being, we sadly do not have any additional troubleshooting outside of our Basic and Advanced Network Troubleshooting Guides, and the Help Article for the code, if you'd not tried them before.
Thank you for your quick reply. I tried all the steps from the article, but unfortunately nothing helped. I will be waiting for your feedback and hope the issue can be resolved soon.
Basically you just have to wait hours until it resolves itself. This happened to me yesterday as well, even posted a YouTube video about it. It happened to me around 8:00 and I wasnt able to get back into the game until 1 AM. Luckily I was able to keep everything I was going into a run with but still sucks I lost out on playing that day because of this stupid bug.
From my experience, I have a friend who I play with who consistently gets error code Basil around when the contract system is initializing, and we get error code Ginger. When this error code is followed by error code Weasel, we get locked out of the game on that account for hours. He has been facing this issue since S1
Absolutely insane. Bungie needs to hop on this immediately because this killed the experience for me. Me and my friend had just had a great run to, ready to jump into another one just to run into that bug. Way to ruin my night honestly. The game is already hanging on by a thread of players so this needs to be addressed.
