PS5 - Marathon voice chat only comes out of Controller not TV
Hi,
When playing Marathon the in game voice chat only comes out of the controller not the TV.
If you mute the controller speaker it still does not come out from the TV.
I have seen other posts complain about this but it appears that Bungie support don't seem to understand the issue. (here and here)
To be very clear this is an issue on PlayStation 5.
When you are playing on controller in game party chat and prox chat box only come out of the controller speaker.
There does not seem to be any way to have them come out of the TV and still be able to use the controller microphone.
Other games have resolved this by having an toggle in the settings to determine where the in game chat comes from.

Thanks for reaching out.
What are your output device setting under Sound on your PS5? Is Switch Output Device Automatically On or Off?
Also, have you tried selecting your TV as the output device?
