Co-Evolution 5/5 Out of Order

I've been working on this mission for the last two days. The contract direction seems out of order. Why have me summon the bots, then do all the things I need to kill the bot, then go back and kill the bot? It would make more sense to summon the bot after doing all the things to kill the bot. 

Additionally, I successfully killed a runner and took a Bio-Chain sample off their corpse. I thought, "oh, I have one. I might not need to do it." Sadly, that was incorrect. Despite me having followed the steps of creating the anti-virus SIMbiont and appling it, summoning the bot then killing it while the SIMbiont was active failed the quest. 

It would be great if there was some wiggle room on completing contract, like in the way that I did. Otherwise, what is the point of making the Bio-Chain available to pick up to other players?

    • Was this was solo or with others?
    • If on a crew, did more than one player have the same contract active?
