Cross platform chat not working 5/6/26

I am only able to communicate via chat with xbox players on my platform and not with Playstation or PC. All setting checked, no issue there. Tried generic fixes with uninstall/ reinstall, modem/router resets, and xbox box settings.

    We understand cross-platform communications don't appear to be working for you. We're sorry to hear of this, as we can imagine the impact which this may have had. When you refer to trying some fixes, just to clarify, have you reviewed our Audio & Voice Troubleshooting guide? It often helps with issues such as that which you're describing.

    If even the troubleshooting in that guide hasn't helped, then please consider linking us to a videoclip demonstrating what you're experiencing. A site like Youtube or Imgur would be ideal for this. We'll then review the clip and see what other information we may need or suggestions we can hopefully make. Thanks.

    Thanks for this footage.

    Having reviewed the video you shared, this does seem odd. For our investigation, could you let us know if this issue even persists in the lobby? Or, if you finish a run with a player you're unable to communicate with and return to the lobby with them still in your team, can you hear them?

    Also, can you see any messages these players type? Specifically those who play on PC?

    I can see text messages from players on other platforms, but the issue with voice chat is a constant. Whether it's in lobby or in game, I am not able to communicate with cross platform players. I've been in lobbies with a friend of mine and they confirmed that the other players are not able to hear me either.

    If you haven't already done so, then we recommend checking out this Xbox article about cross-network play. It goes into how you can adjust your setting for cross-network play. In addition, you may wish to check out our Advanced Networking article, as it outlines steps which help with this type of issue, specifically under the NAT Types heading.
