Error code monkey in ranked

Me and my group were just playing ranked and got error code monkey after we squad wiped a couple teams. not sure if it was ddos or just a server issue but is there a gear refund and/or a ranked point refund?

We were promteded with a screen to either quit out and forfit our loot or keep waiting. we kept waiting for about 5 minutes before it forced us out and said we lost all our gear. if it was a ddos that would have been annoying but it would suck even more if it was a server issue and we cant get our stuff back.
