Mouse input delay/full no controll

Whenever I move my mouse there is almost a full second delay to the inputs I am making. They said to close all overlays and even to close discord but NONE of this works. Ive had this same issue in both of their playtests and they never gave me a fix. PLEASE HELP

Sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your mouse input. We are aware of some third-party utilities that can introduce this problem. Try closing any screen sharing, screen capture, or screen measurement utilities.

You can also try the following workaround to see if that helps resolve the issue:
- If you are streaming while playing, could you try streaming the whole screen and not the Marathon game window specifically.
- If you are not streaming the game while playing, or if the above doesn't work, try disabling the Steam Overlay by clicking Settings → In Game and then toggling off "Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game".

I have the same issue as soon as I logged in to the tutorial, the character was basically looking around all over the place. I had no control. I still don’t understand then when I plugged in a controller, it worked kind of better.

My friends and I are plagued by the same issue. When we experience this, I also get input doubling on my keyboard inputs, extremely strange.

Should also mention that this is with Discord closed/browser mode. Steam Overlay disabled as well.
