how do you participate in the free week on steam?
i opened steam today and marathon is still 40$. i looked in the internet and i cant seem to find how to join the free week. i really look forward to trying the game and im considering buying the game but i wont until i get to try it extensively. so how to i join the free week on windows?

Hi there,
Marathon’s public Open Play Week is expected to run from June 2 through June 9 on Steam for Windows PC. The free week should be accessed through the normal Marathon Steam store page/library entry, not through any separate closed playtest or dev branch.
If Steam is still only showing the $40 purchase option, please fully restart Steam and check again after the rollout window, as the June 2 update timing was expected around 9:00 AM PDT with login availability around 10:00 AM PDT.
