Permanent weasel error

This seems to be a rising issue with several people as I have seen posts on reddit, discord and here about it. 
I was loading into a duos match on outpost and was DC'd during matching and given a weasel error. Since then I am unable to log into Marathon at all. I contacted my ISP, tried both their and your troubleshooting tips and ultimately am still unable to log in on this account. 

I have a second account on another steam account that I am able to log in to just fine on the same machine and internet connection. The issue seems to be account based and I have noticed that all other posts related to this issue all started with we were matchmaking/loading into a match.

    Error code: WEASEL typically signifies you’re encountering a broad networking problem. If you haven't already, we recommend you refer to our Network Troubleshooting Guide to explore potential solutions. We also have an Advanced Troubleshooting Guide, if the Network Troubleshooting Guide did not help.

    If the guides do not help, please provide the following details to add to your report:

    • A screenshot of the full error message
    • Exact date and time of the first and latest failed login, with your timezone.
    • Your region
    • Your ISP name
    • Does this only happen at certain times of the day?
    • Just to confirm, other Steam accounts work fine on the same computer?
  • This is the screenshot of the full error message. 
    FIrst error occured about 1215 PSTish. Latest failed login was just now to take this screenshot. ~1323 PST. 
    I live in Oregon. 
    ISP is TDS. 
    I am unsure about certain times of day, but it seems to be any time. 
    Correct, my second account works just fine on the same computer. I was able to log in and play a match on my second account.

  • Also to add the game does try and connect for an extended period of time. Usually about 30 seconds before I am given the Weasel error code. I see the banner at the bottom of the screen "ATTENTION: Contacting Marathon servers"

  • I'm also getting this error. I've been able to play by making another steam account and launching the game through there.

    Was able to play the game fine, tried loading into a game with a friend on playstation, got booted back to splash screen, and now can't get past it with weasel.

  • According to a friend of mine, I'm constantly going online and offline in the friends list, even when I'm not in the game at all.

  • Update!: As of 1457 PST I am able to log back into my account. Seems like maybe the game thought I was logged in even though I wasn't? Perhaps it just times out over a long period of time. Anyways cheers! Bungie Support if you need any further information please feel free to reach out.
