Bungie Answered
SERVER ERROR CONNECTION
I just had a problem with my duo of servers connections, the game just took off us from the match several times and we kept trying and trying until the game couldn't even start the main menu, I closed the game and started it again and when it finally worked, the game took me to the screen of "extraction failed, you were eliminated". Meaning that I lost all my loadout. So, let my understand something, the game it's not only about trying to survive from other players and UESC but it is also a game where you need to survive from the technical issues of the game? If that's so, I think I'm now finally leaving this "experiencie". Don't get me wrong, the game is cool in many aspects but you're not only making us play against clock (because of the seasons resets you are planing to do) but we also need to play with all the defective stuff the game has. So I don't know if you are giving me back my loadout stuff back cause otherwise, I'll definitely stop playing this.

Hello there,
Thank you for reaching out and reporting this issue.
We’re not able to restore items or progress lost due to disconnects, lag, or other connection issues. In cases where a qualifying server‑side error happens, any refunds that can be offered are handled automatically by the game systems, not manually through support.
In the event that an error occurs with Bungie’s server or network infrastructure, connection recovery may not be possible. We will attempt to ensure that any players affected by a server error will have their starting gear returned to them.
Note: Gear refund only applies to a subset of server error conditions, and will not cover gameplay losses due to Internet connectivity or client-side problems.
To reduce the chance of this happening again, I’d also recommend going through general network troubleshooting (wired connection if possible, router/modem restart, closing bandwidth‑heavy apps, etc.) before starting higher‑stakes runs like Cryo.
