Perma Weasel Error Cause 100%
I think i figured it out. Its a ban. Becaused i used exit lag. i played over an hour just fine and then i was like well i have exit lag might as well use it and then poof the non stop error so i assume it was a intant ban because marathon detected a program. In the rules and stuff it says that using ANY program that can alter the game in ANY way is apparently breaking the rules, even something as common as exit lag that people use for literally any game. So i put an appeal in on my assumption that i am now banned. Also ive tested the game on my wifes computer which sits right next to mine and i played it on her steam account because shes on my family and it works just fine so yes i am about 99% sure the endless Weasel error is a account ban.

I don't think it's a ban, it's just something on their end with the traffic I believe. This same exact issue was relevant during day 1 of the server slam and a hotfix went out shortly after and resolved the weasel error code for a lot of people, including myself. I've seen numerous responses from Bungie on the forums regarding them looking into it, but until then, all we can really do is wait it out. I've seen some posts from people saying that they upgraded from Win10 to Win11 or they re-installed Windows entirely, and that fixed their issue. If you're itching to play, I suppose you can look into doing that, but other than that, your only other option would be to wait for a fix/response.
I'm experiencing the exact same issues of constant weasel errors
The game works perfectly fine on my second PC and my gaming laptop - however on my main gaming PC, it's constant weasel errors
Just like CloudyMinds described - this was constantly happening on Day 1 of Server Slam and on Day 2 the issue was fixed
Also, I don't think it's a ban - my steam account is the same across all of the PCs
