Steam Account Linked to my Bungie Account is deleted, am i stuck?
I have a new steam account, but the one linked to my current bungie account is the old one. It's linked to my active PSN, is there now way to do cross progression for me then? Even if I make a new bungie account and link the new steam one, I don't think I can link my current PSN to that one since that is already linked to a bungie account. Seems like I'm screwed unless Bungie can fix it in the backend.

Due to mandatory security policy, Bungie is not able to remove connected platform accounts from Bungie.net profiles under any circumstances.
If your account has been lost or deleted, we are unable to assist you, and you will need to contact your Platform's support to regain access. Once an account has been linked it is not possible to unlink, with the exception of Twitch accounts.
i have a friend who is going through the same thing. and he caint even disable the cross save feature to return his characters to his psn account. i understand the point of keeping fraud and cheats out but your main community has flooded the internet with the same issue. and people losing their characters they had from day one being they were not keeping up with changes because they quit playing for a while and now they are screwed and even to the point of losing their day 1 characters is bull. like i said i understand the point of it but why not just put a time limit on how often you can unlink. the ones going through the issues would have to wait a bit but it would be worth it in the long run being they wouldnt lose their day 1 characters. im not even going through the issue but i have friends that are. and to me is the dumbest thing you could have done. especially the the ones who supported you for so long. i mean it would even be better to just have periodic window to allow people to be able to change this issue. especially the ones who were late to your update. got to realize you have many of your fanbase that take breaks and dont keep up with changes like this so how do you expect them. to even be aware of this crap.
