Voice chat broken (PC)
Voice chat broken (PC) Not sure if this has already been responded to by the Devs but voice chat on PC is currently broken. I am using a wired PS4 controller to play the game and using a wired mic connected to the PC but it is constantly sending noise. Checked and tested in Windows. Reset in game voice chat. Verified devices selected. Tested in other games. I have also followed the Marathon troubleshooting guide and my microphone is the default and default comms device. There should be an in-game microphone test to help troubleshoot these issues. Anyone else experienced this?

Same for me and my teammate.
Tried propably all combinations of settings, and the default/deafalt in marathon settings with various system setting on input/output devices and no result.
We can see the accounts icons to have border once 'push to talk' button is active and we are talking but, so they seems like they should work, but do not hear teammates nor teammate does not hear me.
We are both on PC, Windows 11.
Hello there,
Thank you very much for reaching out to us. I'm sorry to hear that you are still having issues with Voice Chat in the game. To start, we'd recommend going through our Audio & Voice Troubleshooting Guide, to see if it helps with your issue.
Hello,
Thank you for the response. I went through the troubleshooting article and followed the instructions, but unfortunately the issue persists. Below is the full description of the steps I have already tested.
My setup:
Teammate setup:
1. Windows device configuration
Following the guide, I opened mmsys.cpl and configured the devices as recommended.
On my PC:
Playback tab: Galaxy Buds2 set as Default Device and Default Communication Device
Recording tab: Novox NC-X set as Default Device and Default Communication Device
My friend configured their headset the same way (Sony WH-1000XM4 set as both Default and Default Communication Device for playback and recording).
Before testing in-game, we verified that our microphones work correctly at the system level. We tested recording in Windows sound settings and confirmed that the microphones capture audio and playback works through our headsets.
We also tested using online microphone testing websites, which successfully detected and recorded our voices. Based on these checks, both the input and output devices appear to function normally outside the game.
2. In-game settings
In the Social settings:
We tested:
We tested this while in the 'lobby'
3. We considered that the devices might need to be configured before launching the game, so we restarted the game and confirmed that device defaults again before launching, the result was still the same.
4. I also tested using only one device for both input and output, so for me it were Galaxy Buds2 set as Default and Default Communication device both in playback and recording tabs, then I repeated the same tests in the game (with restarting the game after configuring system devices), still no result.
Current Behaviour:
When we press push-to-talk, our account avatars highlight indicating the game detects voice activity from our devices, however we cannot hear each other, the same is for other players in matchmaking, we cannot hear them, not sure if they can hear us,(I sometimes try to ask by 'tap to talk' if they could write on a chat if they can hear me, no respond yet)
At this point I believe I have tested all configuration combinations I could think of. If there are additional things I could check, I would be happy to try them.
Thank you for your help.
