Run queue errors with Basil, then Weasel, then login repeatedly reports Weasel

Earlier this evening I was able to log on as normal to Marathon, and do some prep work and Codex browsing in the menus without any trouble before eventually initiating a run. The matchmaking queue ran for about 2.5 minutes before failing with error code Basil, then immediately followed by error code Weasel that kicked me back to the Marathon title screen. When I attempted to log in again the loading icons spun for maybe 1-2 minutes, periodically flashing the red "Contacting Marathon servers" banner, before eventually failing with error code Weasel, and this has repeated in the half-hour since without any successful login. Restarting Marathon, my PC, and my router did not resolve this issue. This is the second night in a row this whole sequence has happened - last night the issue resolved itself, but only after coming back a few hours later. I have not had this kind of issue before these two occurrences.

If you’re encountering the BASIL Error Code, please try logging out of the game and back in to see if it resolves the issue. Error code: WEASEL typically signifies you’re encountering a broad networking problem.

Quick follow up - I was able to log in once again at 8:46 pm CDT, and was able to successfully queue into a run. As in the first occurrence, the issue seems to have resolved itself after some time.
Making an additional report that this scenario happened again - 6/13/2026, ~5:17 pm CDT. I've heard some secondhand info from other players about it being related to the game being confused about the session state after the errors kick me back to the login, but I'd appreciate getting any sort of confirmation or explanation from Support firsthand.
Thought I'd also add, if it is related to confusion about where the player is logging on from - I did take advantage of the open play week when Marathon was free to login to my account on both PlayStation and Xbox platforms. I would think any sessions from those would have been cleared by this point, but worth mentioning just in case.
