Got disconnected from a match and lost all of my gear

Fully geared after looting a room. Purple shield, twintap and outland. Tried to click on the keep connecting button, but in the end I connected again and got a screen telling me that we were eliminated. Lost all the gear. Hope I can get my stuff back. Happened at around 12 Norwegian time on the 5th of May.

    We're sorry to hear about this issue. 

    In the event that an error occurs with Bungie’s server or network infrastructure, connection recovery may not be possible. We will attempt to ensure that any players affected by a server error will have their starting gear returned to them. 

    Note: Gear refund only applies to a subset of server error conditions, and will not cover gameplay losses due to Internet connectivity or client-side problems.

  • No, It's not a problem with our network, or anything like that, it's not a client-side issue. Both my teammate and I were disconnected at the same time, 12.00am GMT+2, and a lot of people who reported this issue on both the forum and Discord were disconnected as well.
