Persistent CENTIPEDE error codes

Since launch I've been getting at least one error code centipede and occasional in game network issues. Today i was disconnected by an outpost run and after that i was unable to log back in due to continuous centipede errors.

I'm not playing on Wi-Fi and my NAT is open, I've also played Destiny 2 for years without ever encountering similar problems.
Is there anything at all to avoid this happening again? Is it possible to have my loot refunded?

    If you're experiencing network-related errors such as Error Code: CENTIPEDE, please refer to our Network Troubleshooting Guide for troubleshooting. We also have an Advanced Troubleshooting Guide as well. If that doesn't help, the next step would be checking our Optimizing Connections page. Following that, if issues still persist, we would recommend reaching out to your ISP for more hands-on assistance in troubleshooting your network setup.

    Additionally, you can try the following as well:

    • If you NAT is Strict or Type 3, we recommend getting your NAT into an Open or Type 1 state.
