Game stuck on "continue waiting" screen and i cannot reconnect to game.

I was in the middle of a run in Outpost and as we hacked the elevator my game disconnected me and said something about bungie servers issues despite my teammates still able to continue playing.

I tried to reconnect back into the game but i kept on getting "continue waiting?" screen for about 8 minutes. i restarted my game, steam and pc and tried to reconnect to no success.

eventually my team and my character died in game and i was still stuck on "continue waiting?" screen..... very VERY disappointing.

please investigate bug and give me my loot back.

If you haven't already done so, you may wish to perform some Network Troubleshooting. The information and steps outlined in the linked article have often helped to prevent incidents such as that which you describe from recurring.

With regards to your request for items lost, please note the following from the Network Troubleshooting article:

Gear refund only applies to a subset of server error conditions, and will not cover gameplay losses due to Internet connectivity or client-side problems.

If you continue to experience this issue, even after the troubleshooting, then please let us know whether you're seeing any specific error codes or messages, and we'll review.
