Duo and Solo not an option for Vault Breaker
The only option I have is Trio without fill.
But that doesn't' grant the 40% faction rep and level xp bonus.
Please fix?

As you can see, no Duo or Solo mode.
Unless Trio without fill qualifies as the same thing? I just don't think it does faction rep wise (+40% remember?) :)
I erased my earlier comment as I realized that awarding bonuses in a mode without PvP may not make sense as it would circumvent the whole extraction loop economy, yet it IS much harder to do Cryo solo, so maybe there should be some bonus reward.
But I think it should be made clearer what the intent is. Maybe "SOLO" should just be a toggle since the whole notion of fill in that context makes no sense?
It is frustrating I makes it hard when your facing 3 people most of the time I was so looking forward to running Vault Breaker tonight I hope they fix it soon and extend it.

You really should consider enabling Duo mode with match making on Vault Breaker. And it really should have a free week. Just that mode. It's the perfect introduction to the game.

I have an update to share.
Vault Breaker uses a single Trios playlist, so if you are entering as a duo, you will still need to select the Trios option. If you want a third teammate, you can queue with Crew Fill on. If you prefer to stay as a two-player group, you can queue with Crew Fill off.
If you are playing solo, you can still enter on your own for a tougher challenge, or use the new Vault Breaker Solo queue.
Duos with matchmaking is really what’s needed to get players to naturally form teams that eventually become Trios.
That’s why I’m a little confused that this seems it would be the hallmark feature of Vault Breaker, yet Duo Fill keeps being disabled or unavailable, even on the maps it's says it is available on.
It would be immensely fun to do the puzzles and fight the bots in vault breaker alongside one other randomly matched player, realize that you work really well together as a duo, and think, “Hey, we should try some PvP together sometime.”
That’s how teams form.
You don’t necessarily start with three friends who already play together. Sometimes you start with one other person you happen to match with, discover that you work well together, and then eventually that becomes a group of three.
Duo matchmaking is the bridge into the Trio experience, yet it is the most unreliable part of the game.
And Vault Breaker seems like the perfect environment for that bridge because you can actually get to know how another player plays without immediately having the pressure of PvP.
I really hope Duo + Fill becomes a permanent, reliable option rather than something that seems to work some days and disappear on others.
ok sorry about the ted talk, but you have a really awesome game and I want to see it thrive.
ok it's broken again: alright since duo never works with match making, i'm just gonna add everyone who kills me as a friend and pick at random next time i want to do a duo run. god why is this so cumbersome
all just to do the same work a button would do: Duo → Matchmake → random human → play → leave → next random human.
