Didn't get Compiler skin

Completed Compiler a number of weeks ago, didn't post because there was a ton of similar posts at the time with vague 'looking in to it responses' and hoped it would be resolved at a later point.

I brought in the DNA, and a teammate with 6 vaults did all steps (I only have 5), and we started the fight. Had let a second team join us after we let them live. Seen other posts in here claiming the team that initiates the fight is "guaranteed to get the associated Codex unlocks" but the skin is earned from a Codex unlock, and I didn't earn either the skin or the codex unlock. I had previously completed the fight, with no additional teams or players, on a different character.

    • Your Platform
    • The approximate date and time of when this happened
    • Did you personally hit the Compiler’s exposed weak spot when it was exposed?
    • Do you have video or screenshots showing those hits?
    • Did you exfil successfully?
    • Did your friends get the skin/Codex from the same run? If so, what are their Bungie IDs?
    • Was the missing reward just the skin, or also Codex progress?

    If you have a video or clip from the encounter, you can upload the footage to a public video hosting site, like YouTube, then post the link here and we’ll be glad to take a look.

    • Did your friends get the skin/Codex from the same run? If so, what are their Bungie IDs? - LFG teammates, Motivoh#7653 got it. Unsure of Leon.
    • Was the missing reward just the skin, or also Codex progress? - The skin comes from a codex unlock, so both. My second kill, aiming for a diff. character's skin.
