Marathon doesn't lauch

After starting battleye game shows in task manager and closing in 30 sec. I WANT TO PLAY THIS GAME!!! HELP!

    Thank you for reaching out.

    I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with launching the game.

    To start out, we'd recommend trying to verify the game file integrity through steam to see if it helps. If the issue persists, please ensure that all of your drivers, windows, and your BIOS are all fully up-to-date. Finally, try disabling Steam overlay and fully quit Discord or disable Discord overlay, then relaunch. 

    If you still run into the same issue despite all of this, can you provide us with a copy of your DxDiag? You can copy and paste it over on PasteBin and provide us with the link.

    Hi there,

    Thank you for the DxDiag.

    Can you please try the following steps:

    • Restart your PC.
    • Before launching Marathon, fully close OBS, Voicemod, MSI Afterburner / RTSS, GeForce / ShadowPlay, and any recording, streaming, virtual camera, or audio-routing apps.
    • Launch Marathon through Steam only — please do not open the .exe directly.
    • Make sure you have extra free space on your drives before testing again.

    I also want to note that your CPU may be a factor here, as it appears to be below Marathon’s current minimum PC requirements.

    If the game still opens, shows in Task Manager for about 30 seconds, and closes, please send:

    • A short video of the full launch attempt
    • Confirmation that the apps above were closed
    • Whether you launched through Steam
    • Whether anything changed after rebooting

    Please use your platform's capture button to take a video. You can upload the footage to a public video hosting site, like YouTube, then post the link here and we’ll be glad to take a look.
