FOR THE LOVE OF GOD LET ME SKIP THE FUCKING INTRO
ITS MY FOURTH FUCKING TIME LOSING MY LOOT BECAUSE THE GAME CRASHES AND IT TAKES A FUCK TON OF TIME TO LOG BACK IN. ITS FUCKING ANNOYING GOD FUCKING DAMN IT.
I've seen other posts in which the server will "give items back" if it's a server error, but it never fucking is! I don't know why it crashes. The game randomly stops and I need to wait through all the fucking credits to get back it. If the game is going to be as unstable at least let me get back in as quickly as possible! Fucking hell.

I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with the game crashing when trying to play the game.
To start out, if you are on PC, we'd recommend trying to verify the game file integrity through steam to see if it helps. If the issue persists, please ensure that all of your drivers, windows, and your BIOS are all fully up-to-date. Lastly, if those two steps don't help, please try uninstalling and reinstalling the game.
If you still run into the same issue despite all of this, can you provide us with a copy of your DxDiag? You can copy and paste it over on PasteBin and provide us with the link.
If you are experiencing this on console, please go through this guide to reinstall Marathon on your console and clear your console's cache as well to see if that helps resolve the issue.
As for lost loot, Support is unable to restore any lost loot. While we're unable to manually return lost loot, we have a system in place that automatically refunds gear lost to a subset of server errors. Please note that this will not cover gameplay losses due to Internet connectivity or client-side problems.
In cases where a qualifying server‑side error happens, any refunds that can be offered are handled automatically by the game systems, not manually through support.
Also, happy to send logs or anything in case it helps identify the cause of the crash. Didn't really need the cause, and I used a lot of f words on my post, sorry about that. I just lost 12k of loot while almost finishing a quest that's taken me days to finish just because the game crashed and wouldn't let me back in soon enough to not get killed by bots of the enviroment on Outpost.
