weasel error Daytona beach
I live in Daytona beach i use spectrum I'm using ethernet i have 1000mbps internet and its currently 2 am here and still doing it so I don't believe it is my internets fault but just to be sure I did everything in the troubleshooting guide as well as some other things like getting rid of overlays I had like NVidia overlay and discord overlay basically every 30seconds (if I'm lucky) at the main menu of the game after clicking to enter the game I get the weasel error even if I try to rush into a game like 10 seconds into loading it kicks me with a weasel error games unplayable because of this I was really looking forward to playing even started watching twitch for the drops while i was trying to fix it but nothing ever worked. my in game name is vade seamonster#3926 playing on steam if a staff member comments asking for a video i will be glad to make one would only take me 40 seconds XD 10 seconds to start recording program 30 seconds max to get kicked for weasel LOL
I have spectrum if that helps you guys.

In the meantime, please refer to our Network Troubleshooting Guide for troubleshooting in-case this is a WEASEL error caused by network issues.
Re-install windows. Worked for me and everyone else that tried it.
I re-installed windows and the game and now just get a black screen lol
yea im not gonna listen to rhino cause I've asked in discord and no one told me that others where reinstalling their windows
sounds absurd probably just a troll.
I posted a similar issue and was told by someone else that reinstalling windows worked. Might be legit, but there is no way I am dealing with reinstalling the OS over their broken game.
I actually did the full re-install of windows and not just the ‘fix’ and it does work, I’ve played for the last 6 hours with no errors. Depends if it’s worth while to you, I personally don’t mind a clean start and getting rid of all the shit

You can literally keep all your files ect, I just chose for a fresh start. The first time I did the repair of windows and the second time I did a full clean re-install as a last resort. Can lead an animal to water as they say

This kind of blatant disregard to what I’m saying and what’s actually happening and just trying to get away with saying it’s could just be a network issue when we are getting the weasel error is exactly why I refunded the game last night be warned all! just refund it if your getting the weasel error I litterally said in my post I already did everything on my end including their troubleshooting guide really disgusting support effort from bungie and marathon dev team maybe I’ll download it again in a couple months if I hear they fixed it
Btw guys the more you test it the more time u have to spend in game aka they want you to go past your 2hours for refund on steam
Yeah, I've been making a point to limit my in-game debugging time. Intensely disappointed in their failure to communicate.

I am in a very fortunate situation where 40$ doesn't really mean anything to me, but on principle alone, yes, I likely will refund.
