a problem with the mouse, but not the one you're thinking of

When using a mouse with a radio channel (wireless), during any long and sharp movements, the cursor starts to lag behind the actual movements. If the movement is really long, the cursor can lag by up to several seconds. When connected via USB, the problem does not occur

    Sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your mouse input. We are aware of some third-party utilities that can introduce this problem. Try closing any screen sharing, screen capture, or screen measurement utilities.

     You can also try the following workaround to see if that helps resolve the issue:

    • If you are streaming while playing, could you try streaming the whole screen and not the Marathon game window specifically.
    • If you are not streaming the game while playing, or if the above doesn't work, try disabling the Steam Overlay by clicking Settings → In Game and then toggling off "Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game".
