Code Weasel at sign in screen

Have over 400 hours on PC Steam with no major issues with connectivity.

I am based in Australia so most likely Sydney servers.

Played all day today and had a small break and as far as I know nothing should have changed on my PC. When I launch the game coming back from my break, it starts like normal and I attempt to deploy into an Outpost Trio Autofill game. When I get to the player missions screen the missions don't load and I get a code weasel error message and it just perma loading screen from there ( which is typical if I have ever had any issues prior).
I restart the game and I can now not get past signing in. It just keepings going to say "Attention: Contacting marathon servers...".

I have done the following troubleshooting without success:

- Verified game files in Steam
- Restarted PC
- Restarted routers
- Reinstalled the game
- Waited over 30 minutes in case the raid I entered bugged
- Updated Nvidia drivers
- Turned off anti virus / windows defender
- Tethered to my phone wifi (specifically my phone ISP which is different to my home internet)
- Used both wi-fi and ethernet connection for internet
- Checked for updates with network drivers ( all up to date and no new updates were made recently)
- Ran game as admin
- Uninstalled battleye launcher and reinstalled it ( verifying the game files after)
- Confirmed that Marathon and steam are allowed through any firewalls I have.
- I don't have any VPNs running
- I have flushed dns
- I have tried these commands:
ipconfig /flushdns
netsh int ip reset
netsh winsock reset
- I have set my DNS manually to 8.8.8.8 / 1.1.1.1

The only thing that is different in the last week or so is that I am noticing that battleye launcher is sticking around instead of auto closing the small window. It just has its own tab window that appears after I get to the sign in screen. But I have had this for over a week with no issues.

22:37:20: Starting BattlEye Service...
22:37:22: Updating...
22:37:30: Launching game...
22:39:27: Note: File blocks can be ignored if they don't cause problems with the game.
22:39:27: [INFO] Blocked loading of file: "C:\Windows\System32\TmAMSI\TmAMSIProvider64.dll".

I have no clue why or how this is happening all of a sudden with literally no changes on my side.

Only other options I can think of are that my account is somehow banned, someone is logged into my Marathon account elsewhere somehow ( Means I am hacked) or my ISP has somehow changed some settings on my router within an hour of me being gone?

Is there a way I can get verification if my account has been logged in overseas IPs/other platforms or if my account is somehow banned?

    Hi there,

    Thanks for reaching out!

We're seeing a rise in reports about Error Code: WEASEL occurring and are currently investigating.

In the meantime, please make sure your Windows is fully updated and if all else fails, please refer to our Network Troubleshooting Guide for troubleshooting in case this is a proper Weasel error caused by network issues.

  • Update:

    I did no extra troubleshooting.

Today I got past the sign in step. It is now taking extra time to sign in at start up than usual.

It did lag when it came to displaying the contracts of all players in game but eventually connected to the game.

I still have the battleye launcher staying open after logging in with the same message
