Can’t connect to servers, but everything works well on another account

Dear Marathon team, Out of the blue, I got kicked out to the main menu screen and since then I can’t join the game. On the same console with the same wifi/wired connection, I can easily enter marathon from my gf’s account. On my account, it constantly gives me a weasel error and one time it was yam: s2:1:817B1100. My platform is ps5, I already tried redownloading the game, restarting my console and router, changing from wired to wifi and back, but nothing works. The issue is in my account, not the network. Could I kindly ask you too look into it? Kind regards, Fellow Marathon Player

  • I'm going to add my comment here too as I a getting the exact same issue. 

    I've done everything on there, this is an account issue. There are multiple people both on here and on the discord who are all experiencing this, we have all been playing fine and then when zoning in to a game, dc'ed and can never get back in. I'm pretty sure there is a broader error going on here that needs to be addressed. I can safely say it's not on my end, I can even log in on my partners account on my PC and it works, if I use my account on her PC it doesn't. There is something else going on.

    • Exact date and time of the first and latest failed login, with your timezone.- Approx 18:30 GMT
    • Your region - UK
    • Your ISP name - Zen Internet (I have changed my DNS to try quad9, google and cloudflare)
    • Does this only happen at certain times of the day? - constant since it first started

    As I mentioned previously, other people can log in and play on my PC, this seems like the server thinks I am still logged in.

  • I am adding a comment here as I have the exact same issue and it seems to be flying under the radar since a majority of players can still log in.

    Weasel error code on PS5.
    Logging in as another user however on the same device and network works fine.

    Like the OP I once got error code Yam with additional information: S2:1:817B1100

  • Adding to this as well. I just encountered the same issue. Tried all the troubleshooting tips, reached out to my ISP as well. Same story as everyone else, was loading into a duos outpost and got DC'd (weasel) and now I cannot get into my account. I have a second account as well on the same machine, just different steam account and I have no problem using that account.

  • I'm also getting this error. I've been able to play by making another steam account and launching the game through there.

    Was able to play the game fine, tried loading into a game with a friend on playstation, got booted back to splash screen, and now can't get past it with weasel.

  • Already commented on another thread but i'll go ahead and post it again here

    We seems to be locked in the re-connect state, since everything will work just fine with a new account.
