Compromised Green Shields in Vault
Dear Bungie,
I have compromised green shields in my vault, which I acquired in the early weeks of the game's full release and have held on to dearly since. This game, as have many other games in their early runnings, has been host to its fair share of bugs. Some frustrating, some unnoticed, most fixed. However, some bugs have come to brew some of my fondest memories of the Marathon. One such bug is exfilling with rook, scanning over my vault to see the goop I came out with and seeing compromised green shields and Cyberacne valuables.
I have since parted ways with the valuables, but despite the growth of overcoming the all-so-infamous "gear fear," there lingers with me a slight sense of despondency at the thought of returning next season to a vault void of those compromised green shields. So please, Bungie, in hopes of preserving a keepsake of the fond naivety and awe that came with first experiencing Marathon, the same feelings I had first when first exploring Halo and Destiny, I ask if my compromised green shields may remain in my vault post-season reset. Thank you for making these wonderful games and memories happen. I wish you the best in your current situation,

I can understand why those compromised green shields feel like more than just items in your vault. For players, keepsakes like that can carry the memories of discovery, early chaos, and the excitement of experiencing a new world for the first time.
