Dropping weapons disappears

  We understand weapons you drop keep disappearing. We're sorry to hear of this, as we can imagine how this may have impacted your experience. So we can effectively look into this, please share the following details with us upon your reply:

  • The date you first started to notice this on.
  • The platform you play Marathon on.
  • Does this only happen on specific maps, in particular locations, or with particular weapons?
  • Do certain in-game actions apart from just dropping the weapons appear to reproduce this?
  • A linked videoclip of what you experience. A site like Youtube or Imgur would be ideal for linking us to the clip.

  Once we have the above information, we'll investigate this further.

  I noticed this bug happened twice today, May 21, 2026 around 1-3:00 pm CST.

  I play on PC and Steam.

  So far it has happened on Outpost. I dropped a Bully Smg and it disappeared in Pinwheel. Another run I dropped a Demolition Lmg in Command wing. I have a clip of that here.

  So far I just drop the weapons from my inventory and they disappear and not on the floor or in the wall.
