Locked Out of the Matchmaking Screen
It’s been several minutes since matchmaking started, but the game just won’t start. Even after closing the game and reconnecting, I’m still stuck on the matchmaking screen—it’s been over half an hour now.
I don’t want to leave the matchmaking queue because I’ll lose all the supplies I’ve brought with me, but the game just won’t start, and I’m stuck here.
What should I do?

Thanks for the report.
We are aware of situations where matchmaking appears to stall, and restarting/reconnecting can place the player right back into the same matchmaking screen instead of recovering normally.
We are aware of these situations and are currently looking into them.
The likely cause was the player getting stuck in disconnect recovery to a server that was not responding.
If you’ve already been sitting there that long and reconnecting only returns you to the same screen, it’s likely not going to resolve correctly on its own. At that point, the practical option is to leave the recovery attempt and start a new run, though I understand that may mean losing the supplies you brought in.
