PS5 constantly shutting down (launch PS5)
Me and my fiancé play Marathon together, my PS5 is a few years after launch and has no problems. His however is a launch PS5 and shuts down at least once a day, as bad as five on one day of playing. It is an exclusive Marathon issue and has been happening since he played the server slam. We play hours of other games with no issues whatsoever.
The PS5 has been taken apart and cleaned, we have a fan directed on it, nothing fixes it. It can happen on any map, after any length of playing.
I’ve seen multiple people with launch PS5s complaining about it but it’s been 2 months with no result, what is being done to fix this issue? No one expects to get their loot back, but they do expect to be able to play the game they’ve paid for, on a £500 console.

If you're still experiencing this after cleaning the console and ensure it is well-ventilated, it may be beneficial to clear your download cache. Players on PS5 can do this by following the steps outlined in our support article.
