Bungie Account Name - bryce00mario#0446 (My friend)
Platform - Steam (both of us)
Description of Issue - Constant crashing (he has an intel core ultra processor and is crashing constantly - I have an AMD Ryzen 7 x3d and am not crashing)

Repro steps - Use an intel ultra processor

I understand issues like this take time to be fixed - Seems like the issue is related to intel ultra cores (which my friend has and is crashing with)

I checked a couple different areas and I don't see it being surfaced anywhere except reddit - really hoping you guys are seeing the mass amount of crash reports.

If there's any information on if a fix is coming or if the fix has to be made on the players side please advise.

Thank you.

  • No word from the devs is crazy. They don't care at this point.

  • UPDATE, FIX!! I updated my BIOS via a USB (EZ Flash 3) and it has fixed my issue. I was just able to get into a game and did not crash during the session. I also updated Intel Management Issue, but the BIOS update is what fixed it for me. The devs have replied to the earlier complaints from yesterday.

  • Hello again everyone,

The fix I came up with yesterday was:
Updating your BIOS (dont do any tuning apart xmp/expo) and Intel Management Engine.
    After that I suggest also:
Go to the location where your game is installed, for me its C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Marathon\battleye
Right click on Uninstall_BattlEye -> Run as Administrator -> uninstall it
    Then
Right click on Install_BattlEye -> Run as Administrator -> install it

You can also just delete the insides of this folder and game/steam will redownload it back.

If that doesnt work then I am out of ideas and this probably needs official fix.
