Constant game crashes since 1.0.5

Hi. Loving Marathon, waited 3 years for it.

However, since the 1.0.5 update my game is constantly crashing. I have anywhere between 5 seconds to 3 minutes of loading into a game before it fully freezes for 5 seconds, then closes. It then takes 2 and a half minutes to go from reopening the game to getting back into the game in progress, by which point I've lost everything. I've had well over 50+ crashes - sometimes even stuck in the loop from the moment I get back in-game to it freezing and closing immediately.

Seeing the same kinds of problems from people with Intel Ultra CPUs. For reference my CPU is: Intel Core Ultra 9 285K.

Just to preface, have only had SOME crashes from opening the map sometimes on Perimeter since the game launched prior to the 1.0.5 update.
Please, PLEASE put out a hotfix for this soon, I'm loving the game but my love for it is quickly fading and becoming increasingly frustrated that I cannot stay for longer than 5 minutes in any match playing solo or with friends.
Thank you.

  • Same CPU, saw people saying that a BIOS update fixed the crashing and after doing that I have had no crashes.

  • Hello again everyone,

The fix I came up with yesterday was:
Updating your BIOS (dont do any tuning apart xmp/expo) and Intel Management Engine.
    After that I suggest also:
Go to the location where your game is installed, for me its C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Marathon\battleye
Right click on Uninstall_BattlEye -> Run as Administrator -> uninstall it
    Then
Right click on Install_BattlEye -> Run as Administrator -> install it

You can also just delete the insides of this folder and game/steam will redownload it back.

If that doesnt work then I am out of ideas and this probably needs official fix.
